We are currently looking for a Payroll Assistant to become part of our vibrant and growing team at Jambrina CPA, a local tax and accounting office. In this role, you will facilitate accurate payroll operations and enhance our employee payment systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and summarize timekeeping information.

• Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.

• Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.

• Data Entry into spreadsheets and payroll system

• Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning etc

• Participate and support payroll projects

• Review incoming mails and respond to agency notices

• Maintaining and updating employee records on payroll system and master files.

• Keep track of pay periods, wages salaries and PTO

• Ensuring Compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

• Maintaining physical and electronically payroll records.

• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• ADP: 1 year (Required)

• Payroll: 2 years (Required)
